Julian Louie ss10
It all makes sense now. After months of trying to comprehend why my favourite colours had gone from obnoxious shades to just plain boring hues, I've figured out why I'm so partial to a neutral colour palette. It is because I cannot wear it. I want what I cannot have, and that is the greatest irony of my life. The Julian Louie ss10 collection brought on images in my delusional mind of me prancing around in nude chiffons and peach cottons. I had to force them out along with the idea of me marrying Julian Casablancas and raising kids in the Swiss alps. The next person to say that having pale skin is a blessing, clearly has not seen this collection.

Natalia for charity
February's edition of UK Vogue features Russian beauty Natalia Vodianova combining high fashion and charity. The editorial aims to create awareness for her charity, Naked Heart Foundation. The foundation aims to provide 'safe and inspiring' environments for Russian children. Natalia invited 40 reputable designers including the likes of Chanel, Valentino and Prada to create remarkable dresses that will be auctioned off at a fundraising event in April. What a woman!
Oh yeah, and the images speak for themselves. Nick Knight is a genius.

P.S
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I've recently noted how many people get so excited about a new year. I know it's considered to be a new beginning in pretty much every culture, but what really changes other than the boost in calendar sales? In a years time, you'll only be cursing 2010 for all the problems that have occurred within those 12 fleeting months. Another year isn't going to make your problems go away, and the novelty of writing 010 will wear off almost as quickly as your resolutions are forgotten about.
